Your Intern & Work Combo Programme Conditions

By joining a BUNAC programme you are bound by our general terms and conditions which are listed here

 1.PROGRAMME COSTS AND PAYMENTS PAYMENT SCHEDULE AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND

  • Deposit - £200/$260/€235 (Paid at the time of booking)
  • Second Payment - £400/$550/€460 (Paid after successful consultation)
  • Final balance - £325/$379/€380 (Paid after offer of internship received)
  • Total cost - £925/$1189/€1075

PAYMENT SCHEDULE CANADA

  • Deposit - £200/$260/€235 (Paid at the time of booking)
  • Second Payment - £400/$550/€460 (Paid after successful consultation)
  • Final balance - £549/$685/€640 (Paid after offer of internship received)
  • Total cost - £1149/$1495/€1335

2. TRANSFERRING OR CHANGING YOUR BOOKING

Deposit is transferable to any BUNAC programme up until point of your in-country internship consultation is provided, where your deposit will be considered as used and therefore be non-transferable. Your deposit is protected for life, however, is not transferable to another person.

3. PROGRAMME CANCELLATION

Cancellations will not be acted on until confirmation by email has been received by BUNAC. Cancellation Fees are calculated dependent on your application progress (listed fees are the BUNAC fee that is retained)

  • Cancellation received before internship consultation : Your non-refundable deposit (£200/$260/€235)
  • Cancellation received after your internship consultation has taken place : (£375/$520/€435)
  • Cancellation received after placement offered : No refund

BUNAC are not liable for and cannot refund third party costs including police checks, travel costs, flights, medical costs, visa costs under any circumstances.

The COVID-19 Booking Promise only applies to new bookings made on or after the 17th November 2020.
You will receive 100% of your money back if you cannot proceed with your programme because visa application centres or borders are closed due to COVID19.

  • 100% refund if you can’t apply for your visa within 12 months of paying your deposit
  • 100% refund if you can’t travel within 12 months of getting your visa approved BUNAC are not liable for and cannot refund third party costs including police checks, travel costs, flights, medical costs, visa costs under any circumstances.

4. VISA AUSTRALIA

Visa Type: 12-month Working Holiday Visa

Visa Eligibility: 18-30 years old, holder of an eligible passport
Visa Support funds: $5000AUD (Additional $500AUD if travelling on a one-way ticket) you must prove access to these funds on arrival to Australia
Visa Conditions: Maximum job duration of 6 months per employer

  • Visas are issued at the discretion of the Australian Embassy and Department of Immigration.
  • BUNAC do not accept responsibility for any costs incurred through a delay in visa processing or where a visa is refused. If your visa is refused the above program and product extra cancellations conditions apply
  • The visa cost is set by the Department of Immigration and is subject to change without notice. BUNAC will notify participants of any change to the advertised cost listed here
  • Where there is an increase in the visa cost, the participant will be responsible for meeting such costs. Working Holiday Visa information, estimated processing times and FAQ’s are listed by the Australian government here. 

NEW ZEALAND VISA TYPE: 12-month Working Holiday Visa

VISA ELIGIBLITY: 18-30 years old, holder of an eligible passport
VISA SUPPORT FUNDS: $4200NZD (Additional $500NZD if travelling on a one-way ticket). You must prove access to these funds on arrival to New Zealand
VISA CONDITIONS: Open working holiday visa. Maximum work duration is 12 months. 12 months to enter New Zealand once visa is issued.

  • Visas are issued at the discretion of New Zealand Immigration.
  • BUNAC do not accept responsibility for any costs incurred through a delay in visa processing or where a visa is refused. If your visa is refused the above programme and product extra cancellations conditions apply
  • The visa cost is set by Immigration New Zealand and is subject to change without notice. BUNAC will notify participants of any change to the advertised cost listed here
  •  Where there is an increase in the visa cost, the participant will be responsible for meeting such costs. Working Holiday Visa information, estimated processing times and FAQ’s are listed by the New Zealand government here

CANADA VISA TYPE: 24-month Working Holiday Visa

VISA ELIGIBLITY: 18-30 years old for eligible passport holders
VISA SUPPORT FUNDS: $2500CAD – you must be able to prove access to these funds with a current bank statement on arrival to Canada
VISA CONDITIONS: Open work permit

  •  Visas are issued at the discretion of Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)
  • BUNAC do not accept responsibility for any costs incurred through a delay in visa processing or where a visa is refused. If your visa is refused the above program cancellation conditions apply
  • The visa cost is set by the Canadian Government and is subject to change without notice. BUNAC will notify participants of any change to the advertised cost listed on our website. Where there is an increase in the visa cost, the participant will be responsible for meeting such costs.
  • BUNAC will endeavour to inform you when the visa pool open date is announced by the Canadian High Commission, however we cannot guarantee this as it may be announced at very short notice. It is your responsibility to check the IEC for updates
  • We strongly advise not entering Canada until your Visa has been sent to you by the Canadian Government. Any entry before this time would be as a tourist. Entry to Canada before your Invitation to Apply (ITA) is issued is at your own risk and BUNAC does not accept any responsibility for refused entry to Canada.
  • Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, IEC entry requirements may change and require you to have a pre-arranged job offer or arrival isolation arrangements. BUNAC will update relevant visa conditions and entry requirements on their Travel advice page.

5. ADDITIONAL PROGRAMME DOCUMENTATION AND FEES

To apply for your Working Holiday Visa you may be required to submit a police criminal background check or medical examinations. This could lead to additional third-party fees and delays to your application. Typical reasons for needing a medical include (but not limited to);

  • You have or have had tuberculosis
  • Have a pre-existing medical condition which may require hospitalisation during your stay
  • Intend to stay in New Zealand for 6 months or more and have spent six consecutive months in a country with a high incidence of tuberculosis
  • You intend on working in healthcare or childcare professions You are required to disclose information relating to existing medical conditions, criminal history, nationality and occupation during the initial application stage so BUNAC can determine if you will be required to submit extra documents and how it will affect your application processing time.

6. FLIGHTS 

You are required to communicate your travel date to BUNAC at least 4 weeks before your arrival date so the necessary arrangements can be made for your arrival accommodation. BUNAC are not responsible for any flight changes, delays or cancellations.
