Cost 

• Working holiday visas are free of charge for New Zealand nationals
• You must have support funds of NZD $3,000 and proof of a return/onward flight, or NZD $4,000 if entering Japan on a one-way ticket

The visa allows you to 

• Work in Japan for up to 12 months, however it is advisable that you move jobs every 3 months
• Please note that you are not allowed to work in nightclubs, dance halls and gambling venues

Applying 

• Our Work Japan program includes all the support you need to obtain your Japanese working holiday visa
• You will have to go in-person to the Embassy of Japan in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch to obtain your visa
• You must have proof of travel insurance at the time of visa application
• You can apply for your visa up to one year prior to departure

• Must have lived in the UK for at least one year prior to applying. e.g., you can't do an extended stay in another country, such as another working holiday, 12 months prior to being issued your working holiday visa for Japan.

• You must have support funds of £1,500 and a paid return flight, or £2,500 with no confirmed onward flight

• You must go in-person to the Embassy of Japan in London to obtain your visa. Applicants living in Scotland and North of Lancaster/Darlington are able to go to the Embassy of Japan in Edinburgh
• We recommend that you apply within three months of your intended flight date to Japan, however, you are allocated 12 months to travel and enter Japan after your visa is granted
• Visas are limited, so we recommend you apply as early as possible to avoid disappointment

• You will need to apply for your visa via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• You must go in-person to the Embassy of Japan in Vienna to obtain your visa 
• There are only 200 visas available to Austrian nationals each year. We advise you to apply as early as possible to avoid disappointment
