We had a do-over!

Why the name change, BUNAC?

... said our web developer on a daily basis throughout our re-brand. The JENZA Travel Group is made up of three brands – including BUNAC and JENZA. We both sell our Work Canada program, which was something of a headache for our team – and probably a little confusing for you guys. So, we did some consolidating. Going back to our 1972 US cultural exchange roots, BUNAC is now everything Summer Camp USA, and JENZA is all things working holidays! We then breathed a sign of relief and celebrated with a Canadian Ceasar. Because who isn't slightly obsessed/grossed out by clamato juice??

Why us and why Canada?

The Canada experts

A quick history lesson

After lobbying the Canadian Government for a working holiday program, in 1986 – Work Canada was launched. We’re stoked that over 30 years later, we’re still flying the Canada flag for 18-30-something adventurers via our legendary Work Canada experience.

Need to know

When to go

One of the best things about Canada is that it’s a year-round destination with reliable seasons. Once winter’s over, ski resorts turn into summer playgrounds ready for downhill mountain biking and hiking. That means the seasonal job opportunities are endless. If you want a more urban scene for career-focused work, big cities like Vancouver, Toronto and Edmonton are cool and cultural, and perfectly placed for weekend adventures to the slopes and national parks.

Where to go

Canada is one of the most liveable countries in the world. Head for the hills to work in the mountains of British Columbia, Alberta or Ontario where we can hook you up with pre-arranged jobs working in some of the country’s top ski resorts. Or if you’re more into skyscrapers than slopes, Canada’s cities are pure lifestyle. Frequently ranking as the best cities to live in the world, our partners in Vancouver and Toronto will help you settle in and find casual work.

When to apply

With limited visas available, timing is everything with Canada working holiday visas (IEC visa). When you apply, your name goes into a pool, and if you’re successful, you’ll be invited to officially apply for your visa. The pools typically open in Dec/Jan and close in Oct/Nov - or earlier for countries that run out of their quota. The earlier you apply, the more chance you have of your name being drawn – meaning you’ll be ready when hiring opens. Winter hiring opens in May/Jun and summer hiring in Feb.
