How to find an Internship in the UK

Your UK internship program can be sourced by our specialist team at BUNAC, through one of our Placement Partners or by yourself. Whichever route you choose, your internship must meet our internship eligibility requirements in order to qualify for a UK internship visa.

Our internships cover a whole range of career fields and range between 2-6 months in duration. Our team will be with you every step of the way from your initial consultation, to guiding you through a Skype interview with your prospective employer, to assisting you in applying for the necessary visa if required, all the way through to visiting you during your internship in the UK.

Where will my UK internship be based?

Most of our internships are based in London, however we encourage you to also consider some of the other amazing British cities. If there is somewhere specific you would like to be based, please let us know when you have your consultation with our team.

How long will my internship be for?

You can decide on the duration of your internship, which can be for a maximum of six months. You will be expected to work between 25-35 hours per week, depending on your individual placement and your host company.

How long does it take for BUNAC to find my internship in the UK?

We recommend applying at least 12 weeks prior to your intended start date to allow enough time for us to find you your internship. Your internship start date will be determined throughout the interview process.
