Itinerary What you'll do

Day 1: Arrival day

Welcome to London, baby! Today is free to chill at the hostel, sleep off the jet lag or jump on our WhatsApp group to meet up with other BUNACers starting their UK working holiday that month. Generator hostel is based near Kings Cross, so if you don’t want to venture too far, wander over to the converted railway arches of Coal Drops Yard or cobblestoned Clerkenwell to grab food and drinks.

Arriving early? Get in touch with the team and we’ll hook you up with extra bed nights.

Inclusions: 3 nights’ dorm accommodation at the Generator hostel in London.

Day 2: Meet the fam

Day 3: Get to work

Day 4: By the seaside

Accommodation Where you’ll stay

Generating a buzz since first opening its London doors, Generator is probably London’s best-known hostel. Located just a five-minute walk from Kings Cross in a former cop shop, there’s zero chance that the fashion police will be calling here. The décor is next level, with cool industrial vibes and colourful murals. Hang in the café or cinema room, or party till late with pool, beer pong and other backpackers at the bar.

Get a room: We include three nights’ dorm accommodation at Generator when you arrive. If you want to upgrade to a private room or add extra nights – let the team know and we’ll hook you up. * Please note, during busy periods when we’re not able to book Generator, we use an alternative city-centre hostel with a similar vibe and facilities.
