Essential and Ultimate New Zealand
1. Apply online and pay a deposit
First job is to check that you’re eligible for a New Zealand working holiday visa. Passed? Sweet. Now choose between the 4-day Essential New Zealand or 8-day Ultimate New Zealand, check the departure dates and secure your place online with a deposit.
2. Apply for your working holiday visa
Check your online account for instructions on how to apply for your visa. Please note that visas are issued electronically and can take up to 2-3 weeks to be processed.
3. Book your flights and insurance
Visa approved? The countdown is on. Start ticking off your to-do list. Check up-to-date travel advice, book your flights and organise your travel insurance. Let us know your flight details so that we can book your transfer at the other end.
4. Pay the balance of your trip
The balance for your trip is due eight weeks before departure. Don’t worry if you’ve got excited traveller brain, we’ll get in touch to let you know when it’s coming up and how you need to pay it.
5. Check COVID requirements
Do you need a vaccination passport, pre-departure test or are you required to isolate on arrival? Stay on top of New Zealand’s entry requirements to help keep everyone safe and open to travel.
6. Welcome to New Zealand
Kia Ora! You made it. You’ll be transferred to your Auckland hostel to start either your 4-day or 7-day itinerary. You’ll meet the crew, get set up with everything you need to start working and have a blast exploring with new mates.
Kickstart New Zealand
1. Check you’re eligible
First job is to check that you’re eligible for a New Zealand working holiday visa. All good? Awesome. Pay in full online.
2. Apply for your visa
We’ll email you all the forms and guidelines to apply for your visa, checking that everything is correct before you submit it. Visas can take 2-3 weeks to process.
3. Access our Kickstart hub
Visa approved? Fist bumps. We’ll give you access to our Kickstart hub to apply for your New Zealand bank account and set up your IRD (tax) file number. Job done!
