$2,200 Min. salary

Irrespective of age, skills or camp location, with BUNAC you’ll receive a minimum camp salary of USD $2,200 – at least $200 more than other summer camp USA operators. We‘ve been running our Summer Camp USA program since 1972, and believe wholeheartedly in keeping the program as affordable and accessible as possible for generations of travellers to come.

Camp Matching

At BUNAC, we put you in control of your camp story. Historically, Camp Directors would choose applicants from a shared pool – giving you little or no choice over your summer camp placement. Unique to BUNAC, our Camp Connect matching platform allows you to view different camps and pitch for the camp positions that interest you.

Camp fairs Easy Applications

We’re all about getting hired your way. So, if you’d rather get face-to-face or face-to-camera with Camp Directors, we also have in-person and virtual hiring events throughout the year where you can meet Camp Directors, interview and get hired on the day. Our first UK in-person hiring event is on 26 October - more details to follow soon.

Why is summer camp important? The summer camp programme was originally created to help prevent conflict by bringing young people together to live and work side-by-side. Today, these values of inclusion, diversity and education through travel are at the heart of our BUNAC Summer Camp USA programme.
