What We Love

The Activities

The whole child is the focus at Kinder Ring. Whether on the playing field, in leadership roles, on the stage, in a studio, or living together in a group, Kinder Ring provides campers with a balance achieved through a mix of structured and flexible activities.

The Facilities

More facilities than you can shake a s’mores stick at, Kinder Ring has a state-of-the-art movie theatre, recently renovated arts and craft centre, an Olympic pool, 8 tennis courts, a new fitness centre, an archery range and water sports galore – all wrapped up in 100 acres of stunning green woodland.

The Heritage

Camp Kinder Ring was set up nearly a century ago by Jewish immigrants seeking a cultural community in which to express their heritage and educate their children. This mission supports Camp Kinder Ring as a nurturing Jewish community where their progressive goals of making the world a better place for all is introduced to their campers in a fun, safe, and joy-filled environment.

The Rewards

There are few places where you can do what you love, experience a true slice of America and make a difference to the lives of young people. You’ll watch your campers grow in bravery and confidence right before your eyes – all while growing yourself.

Types Of Roles Camp Kinder Ring Recruit For

Camp Counsellors

Camp Counsellors

As a Camp Counsellor at Camp Kinder Ring, you’ll spend each day with your unit. As your camp family, you’ll bring the fun and the responsibility: supporting and supervising your campers with their day-to-day routines and activities. An older sibling, a support network, a sidekick to crazy adventures... this can range from getting your campers to the dining hall on time, to leading them in a colour war or dance marathon. With a staff to camper ratio of 1:3, you’ll create unbreakable bonds with your campers and lifelong friendships with your fellow Kinder Ring staff members.

See Role

A HOME AWAY FROM HOME Arrive as an individual, leave as part of a family.

The countdown to Camp Kinder Ring starts each year on the last day of camp, as campers and staff tearfully wave goodbye.  In recent years Camp Kinder Ring has invested substantially in the camp facilities including a heated Olympic sized swimming pool and 24-foot climbing wall. Camp Kinder Ring is a place where anything is possible for young people. Where children can be their most active, their most creative and their most unique. Where they can grow in confidence, in friendships and in skills. And where they can return ten months later, already feeling like they belong.

There’s a reason why Camp Directors were once campers at Kinder Ring, why camper’s parents met at Kinder Ring, and why our Kinder Ring Camp Counsellors return year after year. Find out why for yourself. Become a Camp Counsellor or Activity Specialist this summer.
