Our virtual camp hiring event in a nutshell. Here’s all the need to know about which camps will be there, when the two sessions are, and how to sign up. Keep an eye on @bunactravel in January for any updates on more camps joining the event.
30 Jan @7pm- Camp meet + greet
Get face-to-camera with Camp Directors from Fernwood Cove, Tripp Lake and more. Hear about the magic of working at camp, the skills and experiences you gain as a staff member, and ask all your burning campfire questions.
8 Feb @6pm onwards - Camp interviews
After the meet and greet, if you connected with a camp and your skills and application are a match - you can request a video interview for the 8 Feb where you could be hired on the day. You must attend the meet and greet in order to be able to apply for an interview.
You need to have booked onto Summer Camp USA and paid your deposit to attend – just register for the event in your online account. Not booked? Book Summer Camp USA now to pay your deposit and get hired!
What if I can't attend the hiring event?
Don't worry. We have a 99% placement rate on our Camp Connect platform, where you can reach out to Camp Directors for interviews and vv - without having to go through a hiring event. Our January virtual hiring event is a bonus for anyone who wants to get in front of selected Camp Directors, ask questions, and deep dive into that camp.
Why doesn't BUNAC do in-person hiring fairs?
Fairs are fun, until someone unburdens themselves on the waltzer. Or in this hiring fair scenario, you get relieved of £100 to trek by train across the country to attend an in-person event that you could have done online. Our virtual hiring event is a way to still get face time with a selection of camps - minus the cost and stress.
