Why BUNAC
Don’t work to travel, travel to work
Visas, jobs, internship placements, travel planning, accommodation and more. It’s how we work

We’re travellers
All our team have worked or interned abroad.

The BUNAC traveller
Why explore as a tourist, when you can live and earn like a local.
Our travellers don’t want to just visit, they want to live it. To discover new places while earning money, having new experiences and making new friends. They don’t always need a group tour – but they always need the visa help, job support and in-country connections to see the world their way. They want to enjoy all the fun stuff, with the backup of people who know their stuff. Sound like you? Go be you – everyone else is taken.
What we do Work and travel. Why choose?
Staff wanted! We have 17 programs in 7 countries. Let’s get to work.
Summer in the States
Why find your own job at home, when we’ll find you one in the States. The best thing to happen to your summer since daylight saving, choose either Work USA or Summer Camp USA. Your All-America summer includes sponsorship for your J-1 visa, a pre-arranged summer job or camp placement, and the time of your life earning money with new mates.
Gap year goals
Earn money, explore the world, enhance your CV. Preferably, all at the same time. From two weeks to two years, whatever gap you have in your CV/passport/bank account – we have a BUNAC program to fill it.
Write your story
Started in 1962 by two students, our founders believed that crossing borders has the power to break down barriers. They chartered a plane, sold tickets for £59 and flew to America. The rest is history.
Talk to the team
Not sure where to go? We’ve been there. All our team have worked abroad. We take the stress out of planning your trip with visa help, job support and travel advice. Some days (all days) we love our job.
