Best place to work in Canada

As a year-round adventure playground, wherever you choose to live and work – mountains, city or island – you’re sure to find a reason to stay longer and travel further. In fact, the only downside to Canada is choosing where to go first.

A lot of travellers tend to pick a coast. East for Toronto, Quebec and the Blue Mountains; west for Vancouver, Whistler and Vancouver Island; or somewhere in between for Banff, Lake Louise and Edmonton. We have teams on both coasts, so wherever you start or end up, we can support you with finding work – not just when you arrive but for the full duration of your trip.

Whistler and British Columbia

Whistler and British Columbia

When you think of Canada, you’re probably thinking of British Colombia (BC). Canada’s westernmost province, BC is an iconic wilderness home to snow-capped peaks, endless coastlines and incredible wildlife. A paradise for adventurers, it’s unbeatable anywhere in the world when it comes to skiing, hiking and kayaking.

The other thing that makes BC so great (other than the bears), is that it’s not a one trick pony. It also does urban living really well. Whistler, Vancouver and Victoria are where the great outdoors meet Canada’s creative arts and culinary scene – making them some of the most liveable places in the world.

Banff and Alberta

Banff and Alberta

Bordered by the famous Rocky Mountains, the province of Alberta does natural beauty like nowhere else on Earth. It's home to two of the most photographed turquoise lakes in the world – Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, as well as two of the world's oldest national parks – Banff and Jasper.

Its lively cities, Edmonton and Calgary, are just as popular as its glacial mountain ranges and coniferous forests. Abundant wildlife, bags of culture and scenery so beautiful it barely looks real, makes for happy campers (and hikers, skiers and workers). Alberta’s got Instagram envy and work-life balance goals written all over it.

It’s also home to Toronto, a city that frequently hits the heights of the best place to live in the world. And the Blue Mountain Resort, Ontario’s only year-round mountain resort. So, if you’re looking for that perfect combination of cosmopolitan urban life and astounding natural wonders (where have you been all our lives?) then you’ll find it right here in Ottawa.
